How’z It Surfer?
This page is dedicated to all you free spirited, ocean loving wave riders out there. However you do it…. On your belly, with the water in your palms. Or, Sole Arching, with your ten toes over the nose. No matter your skill, board or wave. We want to hear your side of the story. Document the event. We want to know! Where you went? Who was there? Why you where there? What you were riding? And when you were scoring?
The possibilities are limitless, the locations unknown and the equipment yet to be found. Just think… wave diving, sand sliding, shortboard shredding. Bump catching, barrel riding, wake jumping. Porpoising, sponging and airing it out.
But wave riding doesn’t stop once you step back on land. We want to hear about your stories of simulating surfing other places, too. Like pumping the skateboarding around the bowl, or riding gusts of wind along ridge lines. Or how about crashing mopeds in Bali…wait that doesn’t sound like wave riding, but it sounds pretty cool. So leave it!
So basically, if you have a story, and you want to share it. Please do. Add pictures, write comments and let these stories act as a reflection in time. Remember these waves while the image is fresh in your mind or, as you think thats how it went. Anyway, you can wake up with your fresh cup of Kona Coffee, of course Downes Grounds, and check the stories of other wave riders. On a longboard or shortboard, fish or gun, bike or truck, wave or concrete. Remind yourself how good it is to be alive.
Even freestyle walkers and head bopping music wave listeners are wave riders. So get motivated! Document the event! And share the stoke. If they can do it so can you! What other types of wave riding can you think of?

The waves have been good here in double k town! Aloha
